The MFA Program in Creative Writing at Fresno State, in collaboration with Letras Latinas, the literary initiative at the University of Notre Dame's Institute for Latino Studies, will host a two-day national symposium on the life and work of the late poet, educator, and Fresno State alumnus Andrés Montoya on April 13 and 14, 2018 in Fresno, CA.
Former U. S. Poet Laureate Juan Felipe Herrera will deliver the keynote address. The symposium will also feature panel discussions and readings celebrating Montoya's legacy. To learn more, visit the Department of English at Fresno State.
