This annual literary event brings dozens of popular and critically acclaimed authors, along with thousands of readers, together in historic Savannah, Georgia. Free and open to the public, the festival takes place in Telfair Square and the stately buildings around it. Every day of the festival features readings, workshops, panels, and other literary programming. The Savannah Book Festival also hosts emerging and established authors in special events throughout the year. The event is held each February.
