The Nebraska Writers Collective is an Omaha-based non-profit organization that fosteres personal empowerment and community-building in the Midwest through creative writing and performance poetry. They persue their mission through a variety of literary outreach programs, alongside hands-on, interactive workshops that focus mainly on the creation and performance of original writing. Their three main objectives are to mentor new writers, sustain and retain established writers, and preserve and promote the work of writers throughout Nebraska and beyond state lines.
