EARTH DAY POETRY: Create an upcycled book of poems!

As the philosopher Seneca once said, "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."  Join us in honoring Earth Day and National Poetry Month by beginning your own unique accordion-style book of poems by using recycled materials that have reached their beginning's end! Poet Laureate Kaecey McCormick will be joined by writer and artist Keiko O'Leary in this two-hour workshop who will teach participants some unique hand-lettering styles to accompany their book of poems. Participants will transcribe a poem (or more) into the book and may bring a poem they've written, a poem they enjoy reading, or may choose from a selection of poems provided at the workshop.
