Gisselle Yepes
1998 –
Gisselle Yepes was born on September 16, 1998, in Queens, New York, and was raised in the Bronx. Gisselle is a poet, writer, photographer, professor, cinematographer, editor, and student.
Yepes has published poetry and creative nonfiction in December magazine and Gulf Coast. Their honors include December’s Curt Johnson Award for Creative Nonfiction and the 2021 Vera Meyer Strube Poetry Award.
Yepes currently lives in Bloomington, Indiana, where they are pursuing a master’s degree in poetry at the University of Indiana.
