Andre White

Andre White was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts as a creative writing major. In 2016, he was inaugurated as the first Houston Youth Poet Laureate, where he was selected as one of five finalists to compete for the position of National Youth Poet Laureate. He is currently pursuing a degree in dramatic writing at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
